#i want a 70k fic about steve’s relationship with the uso girls  #they teach him how to act and how to move on stage  #they develop a frienship; a familiarity  #steve after a while even stops blushing when he walks on them in different stages of undress because  #who has time to think about that anymore  #steve protects them from some rough boys who think they can do what they want  #they’re tough girls and don’t need his protection but he likes making sure they’re okay  #steve asks them to pose for him and returns the favor posing as well for those who draw  #and they’re amazing #steve has never seen muscles outlined so perfectly since the renassaince  #and steve talking with them late at night after a show about hopes and dreams and the future  #they tell him about their lives  #their homes and families  #their boy far far away because of the war  #some of them left a girl somewhere but they don’t want to talk about it  #steve understands but doesn’t say anything  #squeezes their hand and smiles  #he doesn’t say anything when he sees two of them kissing  #a couple of them have a kid and they work very hard so their child has what they need  #despite missing their moms  #steve admires every single one of these women  #he thinks they’re way more brave than him; way stronger than him  #he loves them and they love him  #because he has a kind heart  #and a smile for everyone  #(and now i made myself cry!!!)  (via @silkspectred)
